Blake Byram: Professional Developer

Blake Byram is a professional developer who lives and works in Austin, Texas. His family business developed over 200,000 square feet of industrial space in Austin and the surrounding area. Blake Byram developed and constructed a 20,000 square foot facility for BF Goodrich Aerospace in record time, so they could keep their distribution agreements intact. He performed tenant finish out projects for various companies around Austin, including the City of Austin, Weingarten Realty and the Trammell Crow Company.

As accomplished as his professional life is Blake Byram’s life in the military and as a pilot is the stuff of legend. He has been a licensed pilot for more than twenty years. During that time, he has flown numerous humanitarian missions to Port au Prince, Haiti, taking doctors and medical supplies to that impoverished island nation on behalf of Doctors without Borders. Blake Byram flew search and rescue missions in Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. And he flew missions after flooding in his hometown of Austin, searching for drowning victims.

Blake Byram is also a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He earned an Honor Graduate ribbon for being in the top of his Basic Training class. He also received the award of Expert Marksman in pistol and rifle shooting. Blake Byram has received a Meritorious Commendation for Service Above and Beyond the Call of Duty, and assisted in a drug interdiction program involving Haitian smugglers.

Blake Byram is a longtime supporter of U.S. Military veterans. He has donated both event space and time for numerous charitable events benefitting veterans, including the Wounded Warrior project.
